The Heart Behind F&L Elite Healthcare Solutions

F&L Elite Healthcare Solutions wasn't created in a boardroom—it was born from lived experience, family devotion, and a lifetime dedicated to caring for others. Our founder's journey from childhood caregiver to U.S. Army veteran to emergency room nurse shaped an agency that understands both the clinical and emotional dimensions of home care.

Our Mission

To provide exceptional, nurse-led home care services that honor the dignity of every individual while supporting the wellbeing of entire families. We deliver clinically informed, compassionate care that enables loved ones to age safely and comfortably at home, surrounded by familiarity and respect.

Our Vision

To set the standard for integrity-driven home care in our community—where every client receives care that reflects our F.A.I.R.C.E. values, every family experiences genuine partnership, and every caregiver embodies professionalism and heart. We envision a future where aging at home is not just possible, but dignified, joyful, and supported by exceptional care.

From Personal Calling to Professional Excellence

F&L Elite Healthcare Solutions LLC was built on a lifelong commitment to service, compassion, and family. Long before this company existed, caregiving was already a part of who I was.

A Heart for Caring from the Beginning

Growing up, I naturally stepped into the role of caregiver. I spent much of my childhood helping care for my younger siblings and cousins, learning responsibility, patience, and compassion at an early age. Caring for others never felt like an obligation — it felt natural. That early foundation planted the seeds for the life of service I continue to live today.

I was raised by a strong and devoted single mother, Jenith Lashley, whose resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering love shaped my character. Watching her balance work, family, and responsibility taught me accountability, integrity, and perseverance — values that still guide me personally and professionally.

At the same time, my grandparents, Alphonso and Carmen Maughn, played a pivotal role in my upbringing. They instilled in me deep respect for others, faith, compassion, and the importance of serving the community with humility and love. Their example taught me that true caregiving is rooted in dignity and kindness.

Service That Became a Calling

Straight out of high school, I proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where I served for eight years. The military strengthened the values already instilled in me — discipline, accountability, structure, respect, and selfless service. The Army reinforced my desire to serve others and prepared me to remain calm, focused, and dependable in high-pressure situations.

These experiences naturally guided me into healthcare.

Before becoming a nurse, I spent nearly 10 years as a phlebotomist, working closely with patients in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. This hands-on experience allowed me to build meaningful relationships with elderly patients and understand their needs on a deeply personal level.

From the Bedside to Leadership

Motivated by both personal family experiences and a desire to make a greater impact, I pursued nursing. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and became a Registered Nurse (RN) while balancing family, work, and life responsibilities.

My nursing career began in long-term care, where I worked closely with the elderly population, and later expanded into Emergency Room nursing, where I developed strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to care for patients during their most critical and vulnerable moments.

Throughout every role — caregiver, soldier, phlebotomist, nurse — one thing remained constant: my heart for caring for others.
